‘La Ricerca delle Sorgenti' is a theatral project from over 15 years, in India and Europe, directed by Abani Biswas. After joining in the ‘Teatro delle Sorgenti' directed by Jerzy Grotowsky, Abani Biswas decided to continue the work in India. Artists from different disciplines were invited for the workshops and the research group were been flooded. During the years, Milon Mela's theatral activity has become a basical part of the project ‘La Ricerca delle Sorgenti'.

The workshop is organized in three meetings with Abani Biswas and Milon Mela. It will begin with the Presentation, a simultaneous action in all the disciplines, followed by two groups:

• Physical work (dance, martial arts) and the Motions (action structured during the ‘Teatro delle Sorgenti')

• The Marma (work on attention, movement, rhythm and voice) and the Mother Language (monologue, sing).

‘Before the Dawn'

Through her transforming dance, Yumiko Yoshioka illuminates magical
light on the depth of the sea of our body.
The hidden creatures in our forgotten memories start to revive in joy.
Something between beautiful and ugly grasp our nerves and senses with
horrible fascination.
We can't help being captivated by this unidentified power, source of
darkness and light.
It's a dance of metamorphosis , in which darkness melts into
brightness.
